Kelia (Kelly) Yan is a dedicated dentist at Markham Street Dental, where she focuses on caring for patients’ oral health while supporting their overall wellbeing. Kelly has been practising dentistry for over 10 years and brings a wealth of experience and a passion for patient care.

Kelly earned her dental degrees from La Trobe University, and she was inspired to join the dental field by her own dentist as a teenager. Drawn to the fascinating blend of art and science, she has spent her career focused on helping patients restore smiles and relieve pain. She loves meeting people from all walks of life and building long-term relationships, whether over a single appointment or many years of care.

Outside of the practice, Kelly enjoys spending time with her partner and their dogs, exploring the scenic hiking trails around Armidale and relaxing at home with a gin and tonic. She also has a creative side, enjoying jigsaw puzzles and recently exploring the art of building miniature book nooks. A fun fact about Kelly: she’s hypermobile, so she may occasionally be found sitting in some uniquely flexible positions!
